Why the K2 Plus

Everything You Need. Nothing You Don't.

The key features that make the K2 Plus stand out in its class.

500×500×500mm Industrial Build Volume

A full half-metre cube of print space — enough for furniture components, vehicle body panels, full-size wearable armour, and industrial tooling fixtures in a single uninterrupted print. Eliminates the split-and-bond workflow for all but the very largest objects.

600mm/s CoreXY Speed at Industrial Scale

The K2 Plus achieves 600mm/s maximum speed despite its scale — dramatically reducing print times for large objects compared to conventional large-format bed-slinger designs that top out at 150–200mm/s.

Dual Z-Axis — Precision at Scale

Twin Z-axis lead screws and motors maintain bed level across the entire 500×500mm surface under dynamic load — preventing the gantry sag that affects single-Z large-format designs at speed. Critical for maintaining accuracy across tall prints.

High-Rigidity Industrial Frame

Built on an all-metal high-rigidity frame engineered for the dynamic loads of 600mm/s CoreXY motion at industrial scale. Frame flex is negligible even at peak acceleration — maintaining dimensional accuracy across the longest, most demanding print sessions.

Advanced Multi-Zone Bed Leveling

An extended mesh leveling routine maps compensation points across the full 500×500mm bed — ensuring first-layer height consistency from the center to the furthest corners, where thermal variation and frame flex would otherwise accumulate.

Multi-Material Ready Architecture

The K2 Plus shares the K2 platform's CFS compatibility — enabling future upgrade to multi-color printing for large-scale multi-material output. The K2 Plus Combo bundles CFS for immediate multi-material capability.

Industrial Sensor Suite

Filament runout detection, power-loss recovery, vibration compensation, and multi-zone bed leveling work together to ensure reliable unattended operation for the long print sessions that 500mm³ jobs demand.

Professional Production Connectivity

Klipper firmware, Creality Cloud remote monitoring, and OrcaSlicer compatibility deliver a professional production workflow. Remote start, stop, and monitoring enables the K2 Plus to run unattended overnight jobs with confidence.

FAQ

Common Questions

At this scale you can print: full-size motorcycle fairings, 1:1 helmet molds, large robotic arms, furniture connectors and brackets at full scale, full-size cosplay chest pieces in one piece, architectural models at generous scales, and industrial jigs and fixtures. The 500mm³ volume eliminates the need to split and bond for the vast majority of real-world large objects.
