K1C
Professional Speed. Carbon Fiber Capable.
The K1C upgrades the K1 platform with a hardened-steel nozzle, AI-powered print calibration, and a redesigned tri-metal extruder — unlocking carbon fiber and abrasive engineering filaments out of the box.
Everything You Need. Nothing You Don't.
The key features that make the K1C stand out in its class.
Hardened Steel Nozzle — Abrasives Ready
The K1C ships with a hardened-steel nozzle as standard. Unlike the brass nozzles in the base K1 and K1 SE, hardened steel handles carbon fiber composites (CF-PLA, CF-PA, CF-PETG), glass fiber, and metal-fill filaments without wearing out. No upgrade required.
AI-Powered Print Calibration
The K1C's AI calibration system automatically characterizes extruder pressure advance, flow rate, and first-layer compensation for each filament loaded. The result is tighter dimensional accuracy and better surface finish across all materials — including abrasive composites that historically required extensive manual tuning.
600mm/s CoreXY Speed
Full K1-class CoreXY motion with input shaping and resonance compensation. Hitting 600mm/s with engineering filaments like CF-PA requires more careful profile tuning than PLA, but the mechanical platform fully supports it.
Tri-Metal Extruder System
The redesigned tri-metal extruder combines a hardened steel gear set, an all-metal heat break, and an optimized filament path geometry. This combination provides the grip and thermal resistance needed for abrasive and high-temperature composite filaments at high feed rates.
Fully Enclosed Chamber
The enclosed polycarbonate chamber maintains stable ambient temperature — critical for engineering materials like PA (nylon) and carbon fiber composites that are sensitive to drafts and temperature swings. Also keeps print noise to a minimum.
Strain Gauge Mesh Leveling
The same precision strain-gauge auto-leveling system as the standard K1. Fully hands-free bed compensation before every print, with no manual adjustment needed. Particularly valuable with composite materials where precise first-layer adhesion matters.
Creality Cloud & Klipper
Full Creality Cloud remote monitoring and control via Wi-Fi. The underlying Klipper firmware is accessible for advanced configuration via Fluidd or Mainsail — useful when dialing in profiles for exotic engineering materials.
Filament Runout & Power Recovery
Runout detection and power-loss recovery are both included. Especially valuable when running expensive engineering filaments — the last thing you want is a failed CF-PA print because of an empty spool or power blip.

Common Questions
The K1C handles CF-PLA, CF-PETG, CF-PA (carbon fiber nylon), and CF-ABS reliably with its hardened steel nozzle and tri-metal extruder. For CF-PA and CF-PC (polycarbonate), ensure your filament is properly dried — moisture is the primary cause of failure with hygroscopic composite filaments.
