Halot Series

Resin printing at its finest. The Halot series pairs cutting-edge 8K mono LCD technology with integrated air purification and blazing-fast layer times for exceptional detail.

8K Mono LCD Precision

From 0.051mm on the Halot Mage to 0.048mm on the flagship Mage S — every Halot machine delivers sub-0.06mm XY accuracy that captures detail invisible to other desktop resin printers.

Production-Ready Speed

Tilt-release FEP mechanisms and fast mono LCD exposure deliver 1.0–1.5s layer times. The Halot series is fast enough for commercial production workflows, not just hobby sessions.

Integrated Air Purification

Built-in activated carbon filtration across the Mage series makes Halot printers suitable for shared studios, dental offices, and home environments without a dedicated print room.

New to resin printing?

Resin printers cure photosensitive liquid layer-by-layer with a UV light source — producing detail far beyond what FDM (filament) printers can achieve. The trade-off is a messier workflow: liquid resin requires gloves, ventilation, and a wash-and-cure station. The Halot series is designed to minimise that friction with integrated air purification and slicer workflows built for first-time resin users.

Understanding Halot Resolution

What Do the Resolution Numbers Mean?

XY Resolution

XY resolution is the size of each pixel on the LCD panel — the smallest detail the printer can resolve on the horizontal plane. The Halot Mage and Mage Pro print at 0.051mm (51 microns). The Halot Mage S pushes this to 0.048mm (48 microns). The Halot One Plus achieves 0.043mm despite being 4K because the same pixel count spans a smaller physical area.

Z Resolution (Layer Height)

Z resolution is configured per print — typically 0.025–0.1mm on Halot printers. Finer Z layers capture more vertical detail but take longer. Most quality resin printing uses 0.05mm layers for a balance of speed and detail. All Halot models support 0.01mm Z resolution for extreme detail work.

Layer Time vs Speed

Mono LCD panels cure far faster than RGB screens (4–10× faster), which is why even the slowest Halot machine (One Plus at 2.0s/layer) significantly outpaces older resin printers. Tilt-release mechanisms on the Mage Pro and Mage S allow the fastest layer times by reducing the suction force during layer separation.

Build Volume

Larger build volumes mean more parts per plate (higher throughput) and the ability to print larger single-piece objects. The Halot Mage, Mage Pro, and Mage S all offer larger platforms than the One Plus. The Mage S extends Z height to 260mm for the tallest possible prints in the series.

Buyer's Guide

Which Halot is Right for You?

First Resin Printer
Halot One Plus

The compact size, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Creality Cloud integration make the Halot One Plus the least intimidating entry into the Halot ecosystem. Its 0.043mm resolution actually exceeds the larger Mage models for small, dense detail work.

Miniatures & Jewellery
Halot Mage or Mage S

The Halot Mage's 8K 0.051mm resolution and 228×128mm platform allow high-density plating of tabletop miniatures, ring settings, and pendants. For the absolute sharpest result, the Mage S's 0.048mm resolution pushes quality further.

Dental & Medical
Halot Mage Pro or Mage S

Dental workflows demand consistent dimensional accuracy and reliable throughput for study models, surgical guides, and prosthetic components. The Mage Pro's tilt-release reliability and the Mage S's smart resin detection make both strong choices for dental applications.

Production Volume
Halot Mage Pro

For commercial users running 5–12 plates per day, the Mage Pro's tilt-release FEP and 1.2s layer time are the right balance of speed, reliability, and cost. The 20% throughput advantage over the standard Mage accumulates to significant daily capacity gains.

Maximum Capability
Halot Mage S

Want the best of every dimension — sharpest pixels, fastest layers, tallest Z, and smart resin monitoring? The Mage S is the answer. It represents the current ceiling of what the Halot series delivers.
