Ender-5 Plus
Large Format. Reliable Foundation.
The Ender-5 Plus brings a 350×350×400mm build platform to a fixed-bed cube-frame design — the largest build volume in the Ender series, purpose-built for users who regularly need more print real estate.
Everything You Need. Nothing You Don't.
The key features that make the Ender-5 Plus stand out in its class.
350×350×400mm Build Volume
The Ender-5 Plus offers the largest build envelope in the entire Ender series — 49 litres of build space. Full-size helmet prints, large architectural models, and industrial-scale functional parts can print in one piece without sectioning and bonding.
Fixed-Bed Cube Frame
Like all Ender-5 machines, the Plus uses a fixed-bed architecture where the print platform moves only on Z while the gantry handles X and Y. At this scale, this dramatically reduces the momentum of a 350×350mm glass bed slamming back and forth — critical for print quality on large, heavy objects.
BLTouch Auto Bed Leveling
An integrated BLTouch probe maps the full 350×350mm surface across a comprehensive point grid before every print. At this build scale, manual leveling a glass bed is impractical — the BLTouch makes reliable first layers across the entire surface achievable with zero user adjustment.
Dual Z-Axis Leadscrew
Twin Z leadscrews keep the gantry level across the full 400mm of Z travel — essential at this scale where a tilted gantry produces measurable dimensional error in tall prints. Independent motors allow Z axis leveling compensation to maintain perpendicularity throughout long prints.
Borosilicate Glass Bed
The large glass platform provides excellent flat surface geometry — more consistent than flexible sheets at this scale — and delivers reliable PLA adhesion with glue stick or hairspray. Prints release cleanly after cooling.
Capricorn PTFE Bowden
The Bowden-style extruder setup is a tradeoff at this size — it keeps the gantry lighter (reducing ringing at scale) at the cost of slightly reduced retraction precision. For PLA and PETG, this is a practical compromise; flexibles require careful tuning.
Filament Runout & Power Recovery
Given the long print times that large-format jobs demand — often 10–20 hours — runout detection and power-loss recovery are essential safety nets. Both are included as standard on the Ender-5 Plus.
Most Affordable Large-Format Option
At this build volume, competing printers cost significantly more. The Ender-5 Plus delivers 350×350×400mm of print real estate at a price that makes large-format printing accessible to hobbyists, small studios, and educational institutions that can't justify K2 Plus pricing.

Common Questions
Yes — PLA on the Ender-5 Plus is its strongest use case. The 350×350×400mm build volume handles very large PLA prints reliably. The glass bed provides good adhesion with glue stick, and the fixed-bed design reduces vibration artifacts. For PLA-only large-format printing, it's excellent value.
