Why the Ender-3 V3 KE

Everything You Need. Nothing You Don't.

The key features that make the Ender-3 V3 KE stand out in its class.

Factory Klipper Firmware

The V3 KE is one of the very few printers at this price that ships with genuine Klipper firmware pre-installed and configured. Input shaping and pressure advance come active out of the box, with no aftermarket modification required — just print.

500mm/s Input Shaping Speed

Klipper's resonance compensation enables sustained 500mm/s travel speeds with ringing suppressed. Practical print speeds of 200–300mm/s are consistently achievable — roughly double the output of the V3 SE and legacy Ender-3 models.

300°C High-Temp Hotend

The V3 KE's 300°C hotend opens up ABS, ASA, and engineering blends that the V3 SE's 260°C hotend can't reliably reach. Paired with an enclosure tent, it handles the full range of common consumer filaments.

CR Touch Auto Bed Leveling

A 25-point CR Touch mesh compensation routine runs automatically before every print, maintaining first-layer consistency across the full 220×220mm surface without manual intervention.

Sprite Direct Drive Extruder

Direct drive shortens the filament path for tighter retraction control, better stringing performance, and reliable flexible filament handling — all at the speed the Klipper firmware enables.

Klipper Web Interface Access

Being Klipper-native, the V3 KE can be accessed via Fluidd or Mainsail running on the printer for full remote control, macro configuration, and PID tuning from any browser on the local network.

Dual Z-Axis Stability

Twin Z leadscrews prevent gantry tilt that causes banding and layer shifts on taller prints. Combined with Klipper's Z tilt compensation, the build platform stays perfectly level across its full height range.

Klipper Without the Setup Cost

Buyers who want Klipper's advantages typically spend extra on a Sonic Pad or Raspberry Pi upgrade. The V3 KE includes all of that at the base purchase price — making it exceptional value for makers who want the most capable bed-slinger at this price point.

FAQ

Common Questions

Klipper provides input shaping (resonance compensation), pressure advance (for cleaner corners and less stringing), and the ability to change settings on-the-fly without re-flashing firmware. In practice it means faster, cleaner prints and more tuning flexibility — without needing to install anything yourself.
